The foundation of our work is home-based care: workers visiting patients and children in their own homes, giving practical support.
Supplying and monitoring medication has improved patients’ life chances.
Children are supported through crèche and pre-school at Lula and K2, and as they progress at primary and high school. Our Future Forward program gives out-of-school help with their studies.
Hot, nutritious meals, monthly food parcels and vegetable gardens help keep people healthy.
Our peer education program influences many of our children and youth, role-modeling a healthy lifestyle and positive behavior.
For those who do not go on to further education, we offer practical skills training at K3, our Youth Skills Development Centre.
In addition, we run support groups and workshops; and when funds allow, we do house repairs. New house building is entirely dependent on external funding.
